Cycle the way to the new hope of Sports in Malaysia

Azizul Hasni Awang

THE Negaraku was played an unprecedented two times at the Laoshan Velodrome in Beijing yesterday thanks to Azizul Hasni Awang and Rizal Tisin registering the country's first double haul of UCI World Cup gold medals.

World No 1 Azizul, riding for the BT Australia team this time, delivered an overwhelming performance, winning every heat including the star-studded keirin final for his second successive UCI World Cup gold medal. The repeat of Azizul's historic first gold medal at Round Two of the World Cup in Melbourne in November, came with a bonus of the World Cup leader's jersey he swept off the back of Frenchman Francois Pervis. being relegated to second twice in a day for Frenchman.

In the 1km time trial, Rizal held back pain in his right hand to upstage the Frenchman for the gold, taking his surprise first ever World Cup medal in a time of 1:02.268s, which was just short of his 1:02.157s Asian record set in Australia last month.Cofidis rider Pervis clocked 1:02.642s to finish second ahead of Poland's Kamil Kuczynski who clocked 1:03.020s.

Azizul's day of glory came sweet as he achieved it via a final which included France's Gregory Bauge (second), Teun Mulder of the Netherlands (third), New Zealand's Simon Van Velthooven, American Travis Smith of the Hawk Relay team and Australia's Shane Perkins.

A determined Rizal, 24, said he had nothing to lose and just pulled himself together to focus on his one mission right from the moment he woke up yesterday morning."Nothing else mattered and my mind was just set on riding all out to the death in my heat. I really wanted the medal, but I did not expect the gold," said Rizal."We knew the track temperatures would be low, thus the times would be slow. So, to get a time so close to my personal best was also quite a good feeling."

CR 9, to his way of being The Great.
1) Cristiano Ronaldo (2009) from
Manchester United toReal Madrid. 94
million €.
2)surpass the record of Zidane than costs
73,5 million € by then.
3) Live up the expectations when he becomes the first player of Real Madrid to score every time at the 4 begining La Liga game.
4) Drives a silver Porsche and Bought a £1.5 million pound mansion in Cheshire which was previously owned by 3 former Manchester United players.
5) Cristiano drives a red Ferrari 435.
FAVOURITE QUOTES OF HIS :
1) "The No 7 shirt is an honor and a responsibility. I hope it brings me a lot of luck."
2) There is no harm in dreaming of becoming the world's best player. It is all about trying to be the best. I will keep working hard to achieve it but it is within my capabilities.

How low can the record goes? ? ;)

The broke records In the year of 2009 (100m)
i. 9.76

ii. 9.69
iii. 9.58

He erase and replace the records that usuaully take years for the other to do so. In just a few months time, he had manage to create 3 world record (and thats only from 100m itself)

His biggest enemy now is the clock. All this while i feel like he is contesting only with his own. The question is, how low more will the time clocked in future???

The living legeng however said that the world will stop at 9.4s. For that, we could only wait and see.
Currently one of the most successful Olympic games ever held. The most expensive Olympic games for now. ( i am sure 2012 London Olympic will surpass for sure.)

Regardless of being surpassed or not, Beijing Olympic will still be marked as one of the most remarkable and historical event for the time being.

During the game ongoing which saw numerous of ages world records were giving a new mark. Of course from the most sensational 100m victory of the quick-to-gain fame athlete from Jamaica, Usain Bolt. (and will never forget the hertbroken defeat of our national top shuttler Lee Chong Wei tamely lost to Lin Dan in the final. T__T )

Sports in Malaysia in the down line

Our country sports are in danger stake.. although we have some few sports than able to compete internationally yet the worrying part is that, we dont have the prominent youngster that show potential could bear the heavy task on their shoulders in future.
Badminton, Squash, Karate all are the usual games and providing similar faces that crave the Malaysia name in the world stage.
Prof. Emeritus Dato' Dr. Khoo Kay kim stressed earlier that the current athletes are just setting the rewards money as their top priority. (but they are few of them that are exceptions) but majority yes. All mata duitan! Kualiti tak de nak kuantiti lebih pulak!!

All part should play their role i think, all means included the spectator as well. But i still feel its the athlete's job to win the heart of us the audience. Only if we learnt that there is something .0that we could cheer and be proud of, orelse we wont care about the growth of sports in Malaysia.

EPL

Lastly, slowly but surely!
Here we go, the first Old Trafford goal from Michael Owen as the newly signed striker of Manchester United had once again rise to the occasion when he scores an injury time goal to give MU a three points up in 4-3 win over Manchester City.
Glory Glory Man United, Glory Glory Man Utd Glory Glory Man Utd! ! !
Controvesy yet Sensational, too bad la Manchester City and its fans. A win always a win. (HAHAHAHAHA) *evil laugh*
FIRST CLASS GOAL TO WORLD CLASS CLUB.
